I lost out on this on auction at £1700 , but the seller contacted me the next day to say it was still available. based on the only other real bidder uppig me to £1050 that’s what I offfered and he accepted.
She looks like a STR but she’s just a dolled up 4.2 V8 , still has 300BHP Mind.
On collecting she looked striaigt and started up cleanly. Howeve on the way home the gearbox started hunting…
I took a look under the car and it was rock solid, overall she was in very good condition and pulled like a train. 1 year on she almost sailed the MOT but needed a couple of small bits. But the gearbox had steadily got worse over time hunting badly and droping into fault often. So in June 2023 she was taken off the road pending a fluid and valve change… Watch this space.
